Have Any Major Events In history Happened When the Commet Has Apeared? What Are They?
Yes, March 26, 1997 - It was the largest mass suicide in U.S. history, a carefully orchestrated ritual that involved sedatives, vodka and plastic bags used to suffocate. Thirty-nine members of a cult known as Heaven's Gate, including their leader Marshall Herff Applewhite, were found inside a Southern California house, their faces wraped in purple cloths. In a "farewell videotape" mailed to one former cult member, Heaven's Gate followers announced their intentions. One woman Said, "We couldn't be happier about what we're about to do."

How Did This comet change the way astrnomers think about our Solar System? How Did technology change the way we think about comets?
According to Mr. Hale and Mr. Bopp their feelings have not changed for comets or the solar system, but instead, it has only helped to further their passion for astronomy. Technology is a living ideal, the fact that we can analyze the surface of mars and interpret temperature and age of soil from a million miles away, only serves to compound the fact that technology would affect the way we see and refer to comets. We can predict the origin, temperature, mass and speed with only a few probes and collection of telemetric data.
